Kittitian Adrian Norford Wins 24th St. Kitts Open
Frigate Bay, St. Kitts (May 30, 2004) – Nineteen-year-old Kittitian Adrian Norford, won The Cable-sponsored 24 th St. Kitts Open, two-day amateur golf championship May 29-30.
Norford sealed victory with a one-over par 73 on day two of the tournament scoring 1 birdie, 15 pars, and 1 bogie. Norford's cumulative three-over par score of 147 beat Trevor Levine's two-day six-over par 150.
Participants from St. Kitts won 1 st place in six out of a total of ten categories; the remaining four being won by St. Lucia, USA, St. Maarten, and Bahrain. Participant countries included St. Kitts, Antigua, St. Lucia, Montserrat, Barbados, St. Maarten, Grenada, the USA, and Bahrain.
